Announcements are short notes that are sent out to the entire community. They will be sent via email as well as show up as an alert when your members log into their Frankly dashboard. To create an announcement, hover over the bell icon next to your profile icon, along the navigation menu of the dashboard homepage. This is where you can view all of your announcements, or click New Announcement to create your own. Include a title and message, then click Create and an email and alert with your message will be sent to everyone that follows your community.
Announcements can only be sent by Administrators and Owners.
Discussions Posts are where members can find the threaded message board for community engagement. Posts have the ability to receive replies, reactions, and either upvotes or downvotes. To create a new Discussion Post, click the Create Post button in the bottom left corner of your dashboard. Under Posts, ****found in the navigation menu, you will see all the posts you have created, and have the ability to comment or react to others. Posts are simple messages without titles, but can include emojis or images.
If you would like to delete or update one of your posts, click on the post you would like to delete, and then click on the three dots (…) in the top left corner of the post. Here you will find the option to Delete Post or Update Post.
In Resources, you can upload links to videos, articles, podcasts, and more for members of your community to access.
Select Resources in the navigation menu, then click + Add a resource
Paste or enter a URL then press ✓ to confirm
Click on the pencil icon to change the Cover Image or rename the Title
(Optional) Select existing tags or click + Add tag to create a new one.
Click the Post button
You can view, edit, or delete your uploads from the Resources page, accessible from the the navigation menu.
