Announcements

Announcements are short notes that are sent out to the entire community. They will be sent via email as well as show up as an alert when your members log into their Frankly dashboard.

Announcements can only be sent by Administrators and Owners.

Creating an Announcement

  1. To create an announcement, hover over the bell icon next to your profile icon, along the navigation menu of the dashboard homepage.

    1. This is where you can view all of your announcements, or click New Announcement to create your own.

  2. Include a title and message, then click Create and an email and alert with your message will be sent to everyone that follows your community.

Managing Announcements

You can delete your announcement by clicking on the trashcan icon next to the announcement.

Posts

Posts are where members can find the threaded message board for community engagement. Posts have the ability to receive replies, reactions, and either upvotes or downvotes.

Creating a Post

  1. Under Posts, ****found in the navigation menu, you will see all the posts you have created, and have the ability to comment or react to others. Posts are simple messages without titles, but can include emojis or images.

  2. To create a new Post, click the Create Post button in the bottom right corner of your dashboard.

  3. Include a message and/or attach an image, then click Post.

Managing Posts

  1. You can reply to posts by clicking the Reply button beneath the post, writing your comment and clicking the Add Comment button.
